Another 2true polish today, Shade 53. It seems that 2true had not only released pastels but also some dark vampy shades to their collection.
Please excuse the manky cuticles! Can't tell you how much I love this polish. This is two coats of Shade 53. A purple based polish with purple iridescent shimmer with hints of brown and red, I think very similar to Zoya Jem, although way cheaper. I've been sporting this one all week. Nearly a one coater too!
Feels like forever since my last post. Two more weeks to go and I'm free from the shackles of essay writing and dissertations. I can't wait to get back to posting regularly. Today I have a quick post of a new 2true shade, Shade 48.
This is three coats of Shade 48, a cornflower blue polish containing silver flake glitter. Slightly sheer but built up well. The blue is much more vibrant that my pictures show, and the sliver flakes gives a visible shimmer even out of direct sunlight. So pretty and a right bargain at £1.99 with Superdrugs running a 3 for £4.99 offer.
Happy Easter! Hope your all enjoying the holidays :-) Back to Nails today. Here is a Nubar polish I've had in my untrieds for a while - MidnightGlory.
This is 4 coats of Midnight Glory, a light sky blue with a pink to gold (with a slight hint of green) duochrome effect. Has a very ethereal feel to it. The name doesn't match at all, nothing 'Midnight' about it? Still a extremely pretty polish. Applied well and the layers built up nicely although 4 coats and still a slight visible nail line. Love Nubar duochromes, they are the best.
Thought I would show you a fab eyeshadow palette I recently purchased. Luckily a Fashionista stand has appeared at my local Superdrugs, much to my delight. I bought one of their Custom Design Palettes as Superdrugs was running a 'buy 3 get one free' deal. Here are the four shades I picked.
Double Take: Golden Dragon
Double Take: Bella
I'm not really a eye shadow connoisseur but I thought these applied quite well, very soft in texture and quite pigmented. The Fashionista stand had a good selection of colours too. It was so hard to choose! The individual eye shadow's cost £4.00 each. With the Custom Palette deal I got all four colours plus the mirrored palette free at £12. You can also mix and match with their blushers too.
Has anyone else tried the Fashionista range? What's your verdict?
