Glitter Gal - Teal Green

Hello All,

Happy Friday to you all! Today I have the second Glitter Gal holographic I picked up from Ninja Polish - Teal Green.

Shade

Flash

This is three coats of Teal Green, much more of a forest green in real life, my camera appears to show a lot of blue in these. The formula was much better on this than in Belgian Chocolate. Applied smoothly. I wished I picked more of these up, I love Glitter Gal. My only true holo lemming now is a dark vampy blood red linear holographic (hint hint Glitter Gal).

Talking of holographic, check out my bottle of Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck, holographic awesomesauce. Did I buy it just for the bottle? I course I did! But it smells quite nice too.

Enjoy

Glitter Gal - Belgian Chocolate

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Tomorrow is the annual Olympia Beauty and I'm so excited to see whats on offer this year and spend an obscene amount of money on nail polish. Luckily enough I'm taking my best friend with me who'll hopefully keep me sane during the day and not lose my head!

Today I have one of the new shade released from Glitter Gal - Belgian Chocolate. I've been waiting a very long time for a true brown holo. If you remember I tried to franken my own but failed (check post here). So extremely happy to see a shade like this the 9 new holos Glitter Gal released.

This is two coats of Belgian Chocolate, a delicious milk chocolate holo. Formula on this one was a but gooey, not at all like the past holos Glitter Gal has made. Made application slightly tricky. Overall though this polish is stunning. I got mine from Ninja Polish, but other retailers such as llarowe, Harlow and Co stock Glitter Gal. You can also buy direct from Glitter Gal.

What do you lot think? Choccy heaven?

Makeup Store - Kaja

Hi ya all,

Today I have another holo to show you. While its sunny I might as well take advantage of it you never know when it will be out next here! I picked this up on my trip to Carnaby Street a couple of weeks back. I don't normal splurge on high end polishes but I couldn't resist. This is Makeup Store's - Kaja. I also picked up a teal holo Charmaine.

This is two coats of Kaja. A cornflower blue with a subtle holo shimmer. Like the colour of this one, although the holo doesn't appear strong. Formula was okay bit thicker than I was expecting, nothing like the other holos which Makeup Store has such as Madeleine. Overall this is a bit of a disappointment for £11. I don't know if other brands have spoiled me such as Glitter Gal with polishes such as Lizard Belly and the Jades which I've shown this week. Maybe I'm beginning to develop polish rot where I'm not appreciating polishes through over exposure. Dunno?

What do you think? Would you pay £11 for Kaja

Jade Holographic - Magia Negra + Giveaway Reminder!

Hello Everyone!

Firstly last chance to enter my giveaway which will close in 10hours click the picture on the side bar to enter. I'm Right, that's out of the way now holo business. I have the second Jade holographic polish to show you all, this one is Magia Negra a fabulously amazing blinging black holo.

This is two coats of Magia Negra, a black linear holo. Isn't this stunning? Coverage was really good on this one, thinner than Vermelho Surreal. I think the holo affect is more prominent too, its so sparkly.

I know a few of you are waiting to see the Barry M Chameleons so I'll hopefully get to play with them this weekend and get some swatches up.

Speak soon

Jade Holographic - Vermelho Surreal

Hello Everyone!

Finally my usb lead arrived for my camera although I've treated myself and ordered a new Nikon for passing my degree. Its only a compact digital one, but I'm looking forward to getting a new camera as mine has seen better days. I also treated myself to a couple of the new Jade holographic polishes as they looked so pretty. I got two, this one is called Vermelho Surreal.

Shade

This is 2 coats of Vermelho Surreal. A red linear holographic polish. Apparently a Brazilian brand (they do some cool polish over there). Its advertised as a 'true' red polish, although I would disagree and say it leans slightly on a copper tone. The formula was quite jelly like for a holo but had good coverage.

I got mine on Llarowe for $10.00 each. Bottles are not massive but this polish looks amazing in the sunshine. Also don't forget, last two days to enter my giveaway!!

Hits No Olimpo - Hestia

Afternoon all,

Short post today. How about another holo? Another polish I received in a recent fab swap. This is Hits - Hestia, from the No Olimpo collection.

This is 3 coats of Hestia, a linear lavender/pink holo. Scrumptious - even if it is pink. Love this collection. I wish these wasn't so expensive in delivery otherwise I'd have the whole lot of them. Hestia is named after the greek goddess of the hearth and architecture, daughter of Chronus and Rhea. I love Greek mythology, all of the No Olimpo collection is named after a Greek gods/goddesses. I'm particularly after Ares as it looks gorgeous.

What do you think?

Glitter Gal - Dark Purple aka Bruised Ego 3D/Holo

Hello Everyone,

Another hot sunny day here in the UK so a perfect opportunity to get out a holo polish (like I need an excuse). By the way, thought I would let you ladies and a few gents know that when I popped into Superdrug at the weekend, they was running an amazing deal on Bloom products, 1/2 price! plus 3 for 2 and I got my student discount on top of that! If your local store still carries Bloom products, check it out. I'll show you the two polishes I picked up soon as I get a chance. Now holo time, today's choice is Glitter Gal - Dark Purple also known as Bruised Ego.

This is 2 coats of Dark Purple, glorious isn't it? Applied perfectly. I purchased mine from Llarowe here although there are a few other sellers are holding this brand such as Ninja Polish.

What polish is your go to 'sunny day' polish?
