N.Fu Oh 51 vs Max Factor Fantasy Fire

Hello Ladies and Gentle

Welcome, welcome, welcome. Today's topic, a comparison of Nfu.Oh 51 and Max Factor Fantasy Fire. It took me a long while to resist the urge not to buy the notorious Nfu.Oh flakie 51. Of course I finally caved in. Imagine my annoyance when I heard that combining Max Factor's new Fantasy Fire with some flakies could recreate the wondrous glowing flakiness which the '51' possesses. Only one way to find out, in the words of Harry Hill...Fight!! No? well a comparison it shall be.

Nfu.Oh 51 is on all but my ring finger. My ring finger has one coat of Max Factor's Fantasy fire, then one coat of Nubar 2010. All combinations have been layered over one coat of H and M's Notoriously Beautiful, as both Fantasy Fire and 51 are quite sheer. As you can see the Fantasy Fire/2010 combo gives a very similar effect to Nfu.Oh's 51. Not total dupes, Nfu.Oh 51 has more of that glowing iridescent  pink shimmer, but if your looking for a cheaper alternative (Nfu.Oh retails for £14.95 here in the UK) then this could be your answer.

And don't forget, I have a bottle of Fantasy Fire for grabs in my Spring Giveaway!!

Max Factor - Fantasy Fire

Hello Everyone!

Today I have for you Max Factor's Fantasy Fire from their new Spring Collection Via Tortona. Quite a bit of hype about Fantasy Fire as its alleged to have similar properties to the infamous Clarins 230. Looks like it could also be similar to Liquid Euphoria Bliss. I would kill for any of the Liquid Euphoria collection or a bottle of Clarins 230. That's what polish dreams are made of.

This is 1 coat of Fantasy Fire over 2 coats of H and M Notoriously Beautiful.

Isn't this awesome? I really wish I got some shots of the H and M polish Notoriously Beautiful to show you, as it's a gorgeous purple on its own. Fantasy Fire speaks for itself, a sheer purple jelly which contains iridescent colour shifting shimmer. YES now that's what I'm talking about, how long have we been waiting for a polish like this to be available here in the UK? About time! Well done Max Factor.

Price £3.99 for 4.5mls. A bit of a stingy size I know, but this one is definitely worth the money. Available at Superdrugs in store and Boots in store and online.

Enjoy

A England - Perceval

Evening all

How are you all keeping? Good I hope. Today I have the second A England polished I ordered, Perceval.

Pretty Percy. This is two coats. Slight application problems compared to Avalon. It was a slightly thinner formula although I'm not the most neatest nail painter. Perceval has a lovely reflective property which means when the light hits, it really glows. Reminds me of a boiled sweet :-) Also a good vibrant shade of red. I'm really looking forward to seeing what A England releases in their new collection.

AND looksy and what came in the post yesterday....Max Factor's new Fantasy Fire :-D

Excuse the poopy pics, but I was in a rush and excited at the same time! Can't wait to swatch this bad boy.

Enjoy All
