Nails Inc - Belgrave Mews

Afternoon Everyone,

Had a good weekend? Mine has been a bit dull, the bad weather here has totally ballsed up my plans. I'm hoping it improves soon!! I have a Nails Inc polish to show you today - Belgrave Mews, saw this one as part of a collection on QVC and I wanted it straight away. I'm a sucker for a good green.

Flash

This is two coats of Belgrave Mews a sage green shot with copper shimmer. I got this off ebay in the end, as I didn't want any of the others and I couldn't afford the whole collection. Applied superbly.

What do you think?

NOTD - Nails Inc Garrick Street

Hello Everyone

It was such a lovely day here in London today. Can't believe how warm it has been, but It's getting harder to take swatch pics as we are losing the light. I don't have a posh light box, I use my garden :-) I had to use the window sill to get the last bit of today's sunshine. Today I have for you Nails Inc - Garrick Street. A blue/purple/green duochrome. Absolutely stunning and super glossy.

I got this off ebay. So glad I did, it's gorgeous. The formula was good on this too. This is 2 coats. Can you tell I like duochromes just a little bit :-)

Enjoy

Mushroom Holo Spectraflair Fraken

Hello Lovely People

I have another spectraflair fraken post, this time my attempt at a brown. I wanted a deep chocolate brown holo, instead I got a mushroom. I'll take that. Please excuse the horrific cuticles :-( Ahhh they disgust me! Why can't I have have pretty fingers?!

I only stopped adding more of the Miss Sporty polish because I had reached the top of the bottle! I like this fraken. So while I'm now in a habit in naming my creations (oooh check me out) I call this creation, Mushy Brown. Original I know. It's quite a nice colour, a hint of purple in there, a nice fit for Autumn. I still want my dark chocolate holo though! Will have to work on that one.

Recipe (approx)
5 drops Nails Inc Jermyn Street
5 drops Rimmel 60 Seconds Torrid
3 drops Beauty UK Golden Chesnut
1/4 bottle Miss Sporty Simply Brown
Rest Clear Polish
3 Scoops Spectraflair

Thank you for reading as always!

Nails inc - Chalk Farm

Hi Everyone!

Today I have for the the first ever Nails inc polish I purchased - Chalk Farm. I adore this colour, a light cornflower blue. Nails inc is a great brand, although their prices are a little hefty. QVC UK usually does some good collections though.

My only beef with Nails inc polishes is that they don't age very well. Soon as the air hits them, 'bam!' they start thickening up. I did hear advice from the Nails inc woman on QVC that you should keep any polish in a cool place, she even suggested in the fridge. Dunno if I'll start storing them next to the milk and cheese but maybe nail companies could start thinking about a nail cooler or something...Dragons Den here I come.
