Miss Sporty Metal Flip - Fiery Blaze

Hello Everyone,

Yeah I know, I've been on the missing. But I haven't disappeared completely. I still have lots of new polishes to show you, I just have to find the time to swatch. Today I have one of the Metal Flip Polishes from Miss Sporty - Fiery Blaze.  I have the collection in my giveaway here.

This is 3 coats of Fiery Blaze. A blue based duochrome which switches from purple/green/gold. Love Love Love this, its my favourite from the collection. The colours are are a bit like Orly space cadet but smooth rather then glass flecked, I'll have to do a comparison with Revlon Kiwizing, as I think its similar.  Prize £1.99 each from Miss Sporty Online or Superdrugs in store.

Ninja Polish - Color Changing Garnet

Hello Everyone,

Hope you've all had an amazing weekend. Today I have a stunning polish to show you all. If you have not seen swatches of this already where have you been! Ninja Polish, who retails imported polishes have a few shades of their own, this is one of them, Color Changing Garnet. 

This is one coat of Color Changing Garnet over W7 Black. Its a duochrome/multichrome glitter which flashes from red/gold/orange/green. It's pretty amazing, good coverage in one coat. I got so many compliments wearing this. I also go Alexandrite which looks stunning on. Available from Ninja Polish for $11. It's currently out of stock but you can sign up for alerts for when its available.

Topshop - Nails in Solar

Hello All,

How are you all keeping? Good I hope. Today I have one of the Topshop duochromes Solar. Looks like a possible dupe for China Glaze's Swanky Silk, although I haven't got it to compare.

This is 3 coats of Solar, a gold/rose gold duochrome metallic. Has a slightly frosty finish but I thought it was quite pretty still. Costs £6.00 from Topshop.


What do you think a possible dupe?

Topshop - Nails in Lead

Hello Everyone,

It's been quite a while since my last post. Today I have Topshop's - Lead. This colour was originally released in 2010 as part of their Heavy Metal Collection but now Topshop have released it into their core line.

This is 2 coats of Lead. Great coverage on this, really opaque in one coat. Lead is a gunmetal grey almost black with a green/blue/purple duochrome. Has tiny micro-particles which shimmer in direct light. Really pretty. Glad Topshop brough this back. Price £6.00 from Topshop.

Sally Hansen HD - Resolution

Hi Everyone!

How you all keeping? Today I have a really nice green metallic from the Sally Hansen HD line - Resolution.

This was 3 coats of Resolution. Applied with no problems. Nice huh? Its so glowy, has hints of gold and purple in there too. The flash shots really make it pop. I think I picked this one up on ebay for under £5.00? Green and duochrome...whats not to love about this beauty. I've got some Sally Hansen Opals on the way from the states, sooo looking forward to receiving them!

H & M - Lady Luck

Hello Everyone

Today I have one of H & M's recent additions to their nail polish collection - Lady Luck. Duochrome/Multichrome finishes have been big in the last year or so and it's great to see the high street stores catching up and embracing this trend.

This is 2 coats of Lady Luck, a green to blue metallic duochrome. I think it's actually rather nice, Lady Luck has quite a strong chrome appearance on the nail, and less streaky then I expected. I must do a comparison to Missha HGR01, although I think this slightly darker. Price £2.99.

What do you think of H & M polishes? Any that I'm missing out on?

Nubar - Midnight Glory

Hello Everyone

Happy Easter! Hope your all enjoying the holidays :-) Back to Nails today. Here is a Nubar polish I've had in my untrieds for a while - Midnight Glory.

Natural Light 

This is 4 coats of Midnight Glory, a light sky blue with a pink to gold (with a slight hint of green) duochrome effect. Has a very ethereal feel to it. The name doesn't match at all, nothing 'Midnight' about it? Still a extremely pretty polish. Applied well and the layers built up nicely although 4 coats and still a slight visible nail line. Love Nubar duochromes, they are the best.

Hits Speciallita Mari Moon - Dreamer

Hello Again

Thought I would fit another sneaky post in before the weekend, as I'm not going to be around much. Here is some swatches of the third Hits Mari Moon polish which I got in my last Llarowe haul - Dreamer.

This is 2 coats of Dreamer. Wow, this looked spectacular on! The application brush was perfect on this also, so not all the brushes are dodgy in this collection. Dreamer is a bright purple/blue/fuchsia/orange duochrome. Formula was also really good. This one applied the best compared to Unconventional and Cool. 

You know what this means? I now need the rest of the Mari Moon Collection :-) I'll have to save the pennies for a couple of weeks, as i'm on a no buy for a month :-(

Currently out of stock on Llarowe, although if this one becomes available, I recommend it.
