Hello Everyone

Look what arrived in the post today! My spectraflair and colour changing pigment from Kitties26 @ More Nail Polish. I wasted no time at all with an attempt at trying my first spectraflair franken.

This is my attempt...

And this wasn't even in full sunlight!! This stuff is amazing, my holo thirst is quenched! ha ha. Not bad for my first attempt. I'm going to call this one She Sea Weed ha ha :-D. Okay maybe I need to re-think that name through.

Recipe (approx)

10 drops of Barry M Racing Green,
5 drops of Barry M Emerald
10 drops of OPI Yoga-ta get this blue
Rest clear polish.

I'm gonna try a few more concoctions and show you the results! And A big massive thank you to Kitties26. What a star!

Tee Dee xx

  1. Oh my god where did you get the Spectraflare from? must have.... drool.... ha ha!!

  2. Wow. Just Wow.

I was so tempted to buy some of this from Kitties but I resisted and now I regret it because I'm broke :( It's completely awesome.

And I love the name ;)

  3. This teal green is perfect. I wanted to do a teal, but ended with aqua. I don't think I have enough dark greens. I might have to do a Barry M order. You did a fantastic job with your first holo franken!

  4. PS I added you to my blog roll too!

  5. @ Fab Fingertips I got it from the lovely Kitties26 @ More Nail Polish, She had some for sale, check Kitties26 blog out it's brilliant.

  6. @ Helly Thanks! I wanted to buy all the pigments she had, but I had to be good and resist. I only got the one :-)

  7. @ Kitties26. Thank you! :-) It was the Barry M Racing Green, such a gorgeous colour!I wanted to keep adding more and more, so hard to stop adding everything!. Thank you also for adding me to your blog roll, I really appreciate it! x

  8. did you use a ball in the bottle..I ordered Spectraflare ages ago..but keep forgetting to get silly balls for the bottles =-/

  9. I didn't use a any balls either but I need to. The spectraflare goes to the bottom. I think the balls would help shake up the mixture easier...rather than me waving it round like a loony :-)

  10. Thankyou Tee Dee, will check it out.

  11. Brilliant, that was a blog I'd looked at a few months ago and forgot the name and what I'd looked at, just remembered those perfect nails! Thankyou!

  12. Wow, lovely franken, I've also bought the colour morphing pigments from @more nail polish.

Thank you for your comments, I appreciate every single one of them :-)
